My artwork is the result of everyday observations with color and line playing a major component. As I go about my day, moments when I attend an event, take a hike with family or talk with my friends, they form the background of my artwork. I am inspired when I read or see a photograph or flip through a magazine. Some are inspired by my heritage whereas some are a result of daydreaming. My mediums are principally pencil, pen and oil. They allow me to layer and blend colors. All mediums give a textural feel to the paintings. The process of art-making relaxes and energizes me.
